My friend Aubry arrived a few days early to help me prep for the Fete. Friday was macaron day so we were in the kitchen and on our feet pretty much the whole day. We discovered that three batches of French macarons in one day is no small feat!

We had our share of issues, including the Barney macarons, the ganache with an attitude, and the over-whipped egg whites but all in all Baking Day was fun. Nothing like a few slight kitchen disasters to keep us humble and entertained!
